How to Increase Free Traffic to Your Website

How to Increase Free Traffic to Your Website                             Instructions

o    1
One of the best techniques to get links is to write an article and post it to many different sites. You can find these sites by going into Google and typing, "submit your article." You'll find numerous sites that will allow you to submit content and your link, which raises the ranking of your own site.

Submit your videos to multiple websites. Every time you submit your video to a site, you can also add your website link. Make sure the subject of your video matches closely to what your own site is about. For instance, if you sell jewelry on your website, you can create a video on how to make necklaces.
There are many very popular websites you can add your videos to. Just Google search terms such as, "submit your videos" and you'll quickly locate them.

Write a free eBook. If you've got writing skills, try using some of your knowledge to create an informative eBook. Then submit a part of the eBook to article sites and people will link into your site to read the rest of it.
Nobody likes spending money at a website where the webmaster charges for every bit of information. On the other hand, if you offer helpful tips, like in a free eBook, you will be doing people a favor and developing a good reputation. You will also drive a lot of traffic to your site.

Get the right kind of backlinks. There are good links and bad links. A good link is called a "do follow", which means when you get a link in another webmaster's site, you get a little bit of his or her page rank juice, which is what makes your site score higher in search engines. However, it's very common for people to optimize their website in a way that gives your site no search engine credibility, so your link is sitting on their web page, but you are not getting promoted by any of their link juice.
When you go into a site, right click anywhere on the web page and select, "view source". Press Control+F and type in, "rel=nofollow" without the quotes. If you see "rel=nofollow" in the source code, linking will do you little good. Exit their website and look for a better place to submit your link. Now all your links will be worth something and you don't have to pay anyone to do it for you.
